Our Process

I've never worked with an Architect, how does it work?

Collaborative.

CSA Architects listens, collaborates, and communicates with you through every step of the design process, and continues that support through construction.

Contact us today and let's discuss your dream project.

  • Listen & Discover

We start by learning what matters most to you.

    • What is the dream?
    • What have you always wanted and why?
    • Why now? What made you reach out?
  • Design & Refine

Ideas take shape through collaboration and communication.

    What are the facts?

    • Timing? When do you want/need this completed.
    • Budget? Share this with your architect. Please don’t be scared that your architect will blow your budget if they know how much you have to spend. It’s quite the opposite, if we don’t know what you are working with, we can’t help you get what you want.
    • Permittable? Can this project be approved by your local City/County? CSA is here to help determine that early in the process. And if not allowed, CSA can assist with suggestions for an approvable option.
  • Permit & Prepare

We handle the technical details to keep your project moving forward.

    Time to prepare working drawings.

The design is refined to incorporate all the finite details needed to make this a reality.

    • CSA works directly with Consultants such as Engineers (Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, & Energy) to create a full set of plans detailing the entire project and how it shall be constructed & built.
    • The plans are then submitted to the City/County for review.
    • CSA coordinates with the City/County and all jurisdictional departments to complete the permitting process.
  • Build & Support

We remain involved through construction to make sure the design is executed as intended.

    During construction, CSA will…

    • Support you and your builder as the project finally gets underway and construction beings.

    • Answer questions & clarify the drawings as needed.

    • Assist if anything unexpected happens during construction and a change is required onsite.
